Additional Details
Our GED classes emphasize one-on-one teaching. In order to pass the GED test Students must master four academic areas: Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. Individuals entering the program may have different skill levels in the individual subjects. The individualized approach provides each student with an “individualized curriculum” based on their skill level in the academic areas.

Students have access to computer-based lessons for use in preparing some areas. In addition, in 2014, the GED Test became computer based. Thus, using computers during classes not only aides with mastery of the material but helps students gain familiarity and comfort with computer interactions.

Those who pass the GED class can attend the JCC’s 90 hour child care program for free !
